Are You Depressed

  • Are you crying more?
  • Do you have difficulty concentrating or are you more forgetful than usual?
  • Do you feel guilty about things you are not responsible for?
  • Have you had changes in your sleep patterns such as sleeping more or less than usual, early morning awakening, difficulty falling asleep or difficulty staying asleep?
  • Have you had changes in your appetite such as eating more or less than usual?
  • Do you feel sadder than usual?
  • Are you feeling more irritable than usual?
  • Do you feel more restless than usual?
  • Do you feel less interested or get less pleasure in the things you used to enjoy?
  • Are you spending less time with family and friends than normal?
  • Have you been thinking about death or having thoughts of committing suicide?

If you answered yes to three or more of these questions, you may be depressed. It is important that you contact a mental health professional to discuss you concerns.
